Prince of Peckham & Peckham Soul proudly present ‘Peckham Blues Party,’ a rockin’ soundsystem of Jump Blues, dynamite Ska, Boss Reggae and Roots taking place in the splendour of The Prince of Peckham.

‘Blues Parties’ were house parties started by the newly arrived West Indian community in the 50’s and 60’s. A place to hear music from home not heard in mainstream clubs, it was also guaranteed entry to a party at a time when the ‘colour bar’ meant that non-white faces were not always welcome. With the Peckham Blues Party – everybody’s invited!
