For the penultimate week of the Peckham Renaissance, we will be joined by Kwaku Asante.
Born in North-west London, singer-songwriter Kwaku Asante’s love for music was sparked early on by a house filled with gospel and jazz. Playing piano and singing in a choir as a child would later turn into recording demos in his university bedroom. Kwaku is a storyteller, vividly narrating his journey of self-discovery through music that draws inspiration from neo-soul, R&B, and hip hop.
Mr Friday Night himself, DJ Teeshow is kicking off the after-party in our Room 2. Straight from the decks of Capital Xtra TeeShow will be dropping all the hottest tunes all night long.
Cloud X’s resident Jo Jo Deejay will be playing on the main bar from 10:30pm.
Doors 9pm, show time 10pm.
