In 2022 we’re launching a series of serious collab food takeovers seeing our resident kitchen team, White Men Can’t Jerk work with some of the hottest chefs and food brands around. To kick things off we aren’t messing about, we’ve pulled out ALL the stops to bring you:
WHYTE MEN CAN’T JERK
A full building takeover with Whyte Rushen.
Over the last year Whyte has carved out his own path via instagram, spearheading the underground guerrilla pop-up movement, often fusing cuisines and reinventing what we know as “street food”.
All your regular Rushen guerrilla carnage with Whyte’s signature avant-grade twists on Caribbean food across multiple floors and multiple simultaneous menus for his first ever venture south of the river, as well as sets from team Whyte Rushen’s resident DJ vulfco of hydro lab and special guests.
For the Tasting Menu, you’ll be able to grab a seat on the first floor of Prince of Peckham. The Snack Menu is available on our ground floor Main Bar. You will also have access to our Shrine basement bar, where we’ll be offering up a secret experimental menu – see you there!
Tasting Menu – £65
Ackee and salt fish donut.
Duo of stuffed jerk wings, plantain mousse, rice and peas.
Ital soup, confit potatoes, bbq vegetables, scotch bonnet oil.
Smoked Basque cheesecake. Textures of Plantain. (Rum flambé)
Snack Menu – £20 for two snacks
Crispy curry goat burger, smoked yoghurt ‘burger sauce’, dehydrated scotch bonnet pickles.
Curry chicken dirty fries, ackee mayo, finger lime.
Roasted breadfruit, ginger caramel, burnt spring onions, thyme salt.
Caramelised Pumpkin patty, brown butter and truffle honey.
