How Is It Different From a Traditional Life-Drawing Class?

Neon Naked takes a much freer approach.

Do I Need to Be Good at Drawing?

Your work does not need to look like anybody else’s. In fact, that is the point.

What Happens During the Session?

When you arrive, you will be welcomed into a space illuminated with UV light. Fluorescent drawing materials, paper and boards are provided, so you do not need to bring an entire art studio with you.

The host introduces each activity and offers creative prompts throughout the session. Models hold a mixture of short and longer poses, giving you opportunities to try different styles and techniques.

Expect bold body paint, playful accessories and a soundtrack that keeps the evening moving.

You can focus seriously on your artwork or treat the session as a chance to relax and try something different. Both approaches are welcome.

Is the Model Completely Naked?

Neon Naked Life Drawing uses nude life models decorated with UV-reactive body paint and accessories.

Nudity is treated professionally and respectfully, just as it would be in any established life-drawing class. Attendees must be aged 18 or over.

Photography and filming of the models are not allowed. You are welcome to photograph your own artwork, but phones should stay away while models are posing.

Respecting the model is part of creating a comfortable experience for everyone in the room.
